Look what I just brought home from the frame-builder:
I've been meaning to couple my touring bike for some time, and it's finally done! Really, I don't know how I could have put it off this long seeing as I work for an airline and should be taking many cycling trips. Now it can happen. I've still got a little way to go on healing from my most recent sternum realignment, but that will give me time to build the LHT back up and get a trip planned. Many touring locations are going through my head, and I'm sure they'll be some fun coming...sweet.
Bob Brown in St. Paul did the work. I'm very happy with how it turned out, and he was great to work with, squeezing in my coupler job during a very busy backlog of full frame builds he is working on. Thanks Bob!
This may have kicked off another project too...once I brought it home, Alison asked me- "Why don't I have a coupled touring bike?" I suppose we'll have to fix that right?

Cool S&S coupled LHT.
Hey, I was up on the SHT backpacking this weekend. Saw your entry on the trail register at the Caribou River Crossing. Must have felt great to be out on the trail.
Thanks Doug; I'm pretty excited to take some bike touring trips as soon as I can...
That's cool that you ran across my entry on the SHT. I always wonder if anyone I know will read what I write...:) I was up there with my parents from Minot, ND. They hadn't seen the trail before so we did a little day hike. We were all happy to be out in the woods as usual...
